There are a lot of you guys asking me to review another good speaker under Rs. 2000 then I checked out on the internet and found Boat Stone 600 and after looking at specs I thought let’s try this out and here is my review after using this speaker after a week.
Boat Stone 600 Wireless Speaker Review
The boAt Stone 600 is your ideal choice if you are on a tight budget and looking for a high-quality speaker. It offers everything you can expect from a high-quality portable speaker.
Let’s talk about build quality
The most important thing about this speaker is, it is developed for indoor as well as outdoor activities. Boat Stone 600 is International Rated IPX6 So, It can endure through heavy splashing of rain even if water is poured at high pressure and keep the speaker safe from water and dust. The flap covers protect aux input, micro USB port and power button from dust & water.
On the bottom right-hand edge of the speaker grill, it has an LED indicator which tells you when the speaker is in pairing mode. Overall the build Quality of Boat Stone 600 is really sturdy and we give it a handsome 4.5 stars out of 5.
boAt Stone 600 outputs a loud and bass-heavy sound which we expect form Boat brand. The dynamic 40 mm dual drivers pack a punch and deliver a true bass and rhythmic response to the most demanding of tracks.
This speaker is louder than you expect from a budget Bluetooth speaker in this price range even after IPX6 Water & Dust protection.
It offers a wide frequency range of 40Hz-20kHz so you can experience almost all of the sub-bass sounds without losing much details.
I’m really impressed with the audio quality of Boat Stone 600 and give it 4.7 stars out of 5.
Connectivity option in a speaker is most important and Boat Stone 600 will let you down here. It has only two connectivity options AUX Input and Bluetooth 4.0. There is no SD Card Slot, no USB port and if you are FM Lover then don’t buy this speaker because there is no FM Support. So in Connectivity option, we give this speaker 2 Stars out of 5.
As far as connection goes boAt claims this speaker has a range of 9-10 meters.
boAt claims that the Stone 600 will get you around 8 hours of constant playback. But in Our testing, we got almost 6 hours of playback time on a single charge on full volume but if you keep the volume at 60% battery life will be increased for 40-45 minutes. So, I’m happy with this performance from a mid-range budget wireless speaker.
